Here at OTG Movers, we understand that moving home can be a stressful and worrying time. There’s so much to do, in such a short space of time! Our experience tells us that good preparation helps reduce that stress, so we’ve created a short checklist to help you before the big day.

Get a quote for your removal and confirm a date
Purchase packing materials, if not provided in your quote
Pack all belongings into boxes/bags
Dispose/recycle/sell any unwanted items
Dismantle wardrobes/beds, if not agreed in quote
Remove curtains/blinds from windows
Clear any loft and/or storage spaces
Have a plan/layout for the set-up in new property
Disconnect appliances (washing machines, cookers, etc)
Re-route your post including bills and amenities
Parking/access for the removal vehicles
